"Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, adn Christ will shine on you." Be very careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is." ~ Eph 5:14-17
Today in church we heard from Ed Young via video. This was the passage he spoke on. It was about waking up and taking action as a Christian. I hate being complacent, though I often am. I hate days when I feel like I have gotten nothing accomplished and have not given time to my kids like I should. I do want to grow more and know God more. I pray that I will be wise in my daily decisions and actions and that I will take the opportunities that arrise and make the most of them and that I will understand what the Lord's will is.
And the Sunday school lesson was about courage. So along with all the above, I pray I can face my giants and my fears and have courage to step out in faith.
